The Indo-Pacific 2025 International Maritime Exposition marked a significant milestone for Elysium EPL - and particularly for our Autonomous Surface Vessel (ASV) program. Alongside exhibiting one of our operational ASVs, Elysium EPL and Seasats formally signed their reseller agreement, confirming Elysium EPL as the exclusive reseller for Seasats in Australia and New Zealand.

This milestone follows Seasats’ USD $89 million contract with the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, underscoring international confidence in their technology. Seasats’ ASVs are engineered for exceptional endurance, secure communications, agility, and cost-effectiveness - delivering persistent maritime capability that is cheaper to operate, simpler to maintain, and better suited to distributed operations than traditional crewed and existing uncrewed platforms.

These systems are already proven in both national security and industry operations, supporting missions from persistent surveillance to environmental and infrastructure monitoring.

For Elysium EPL, the agreement represents a natural evolution of our operational capability. Having achieved AMSA 2B certification for our Lightfish ASV, we are now expanding from active operations to regional resale and integration - bringing Seasats’ world-leading technology to customers across Australia and New Zealand.

The partnership also lays the groundwork for future local sustainment and integration of Seasats platforms within Australia’s defence industry base. These platforms are interchangeable and interoperable with systems already in service with our AUKUS partners, advancing AUKUS Pillar II’s focus on autonomous systems, AI, and undersea technologies through international collaboration backed by secure sovereign capability.

“We’re thrilled to formalise our partnership with Seasats, a company that has been at the forefront of this technology and with whom we’ve worked since bringing this capability into Elysium EPL,” said Michael Mitchell, Director at Elysium EPL.

“Our shared commitment to performance and innovation has already delivered results, and this agreement ensures that momentum continues.”

Seasats CEO Mike Flanigan agreed.

“Seasats has spent years refining these platforms,” Mike said.

“Partnering with Elysium EPL ensures that our technology continues to evolve and reach new customers throughout Australia and New Zealand.”

Through this agreement, Elysium EPL will provide regional sales, integration, and front-line support for Seasats’ platforms, expanding opportunities for Australian and New Zealand industry participation in AUKUS Pillar II-aligned capability development and future operations.
